39 2013年2月10日、スリランカにて初めてサー フィンを指導していた時に、沖に流されて いた海水浴客を救助。その御礼として、ゲタ マンネ・グナナンダ僧侶から、寺院のパー ティーに招待され、第6代大統領マヒンダ・ ラージャパクサ氏と大臣兼マータラ県知事 アルナ・グナラダナ氏と挨拶。ここから、スリ ランカとの交流が始まる。 February 10th, 2013- When I first taught surfing in Sri Lanka, rescued swimmers who were swept off the coast. In gratitude, received an invitation to a party held at temple from Getamanne Gunananda monk. At the party, I was able to greet with Mahinda Rajapaksa, the 6th president of Sri Lanka, and Aruna Gunarathna, the Minister and Matara Governor.
