43 2014年3月15日、コロンボ〜マータラ間の高速道路開通式に招待され出席。 March 15th 2014- Got invited and attended to the Colombo ~ Mata ra Expressway Opening Ceremony. 2014年3月13日、初代大統領ジュニウス・リチャード・ジャヤワルダナ氏の側近であった、パトリック・ ピーリス氏の奥様（ピーリス・ヒサノ・池田氏…同級生の義妹）に会う。40年前、パトリック・ピーリス 氏が浜松で働いていた際に、大久保忠訓氏（浜松ホストライオンズクラブ 元会長）が彼の生活を 支援していたと知り、より縁の繋がりを感じる。 March 13rd, 2014- Met with the 1st president of Sri Lanka, Junius Richard Jayewardene’s closest advisor Patrick Peiris’s wife, Hisano Ikeda Peiris (a classmates’s step-sister). Upon meeting, found out that Tadakuni Ookubo (ex-chairman of the Hamamatsu Host Lion Club) supported Patrick Peiris’s living when he was working at Hamamatsu 40 years ago. For that reason, a close connection was felt.
